Free, and worth the time
Most 4x4 work goes sideways before a single part is ordered. A lift that clears the tire you want, a bumper that keeps your sensors working, lighting that stays legal on the highway: all of it depends on your exact vehicle, trim and plans. A consultation gets those answers first.
There is no charge and no obligation. If the honest answer is that you should wait, do it in a different order, or spend your money somewhere else first, that is what we will tell you.
What a consultation answers
What actually fits your rig
Year, trim and drivetrain decide which kits are made for your vehicle. Factory off-road packages, air suspension and adaptive dampers all narrow the list, and we check before anything is ordered.
Tire and wheel plans
Start from the tire you want and work backward to the height, wheel offset and bump stops that let it cycle without rubbing. It is the step most people skip.
The order to do things in
Some jobs are cheaper together: lift and tires in one visit, lighting while a bumper is off. We will lay out a plan you can do all at once or spread across a few visits.
Real numbers
Parts pricing moves, so we quote your build rather than publishing a menu. You will leave knowing what the work costs and what it includes, including the alignment.

Tell us about the rig
Your vehicle, trim, what is already on it, and what you want it to do. Photos help, especially of anything already installed.
We talk it through
In the shop, on the phone or by text, whichever you prefer. We confirm fitment, talk tires and heights, and flag anything that needs a specialist.
You get a quote and a date
Parts, labor and alignment in writing. Most jobs get into the bay within about a week of parts arriving.
What to have handy
None of this is required, but it makes the conversation faster.
Your year, make, model and trim; the tire size you are after, if you know it; anything already installed, including lifts, bumpers or lighting; and how you use the vehicle, from daily driving and towing to gravel roads, trails or overland trips.
We’re open Monday–Friday 9–4. Early drop-off and late pickup are available for the work itself, and special requests can be discussed. We serve Windsor, Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland and the rest of Northern Colorado.
Consultation FAQ
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. There is no charge and no deposit to talk through a build. You only pay once you approve a quote and we order parts.
Do I have to bring the vehicle in?
No. Plenty of consultations happen by phone or text. Bringing it by helps when we need to see what is already installed or measure for fitment.
Will you give me a price on the spot?
Usually yes for common jobs, once we know your vehicle and the parts. If it needs a distributor quote or a fitment check, we follow up quickly.
What if I already have parts?
We install customer-supplied parts under our customer-supplied parts policy. Bring the part numbers to the consultation and we will confirm they fit before scheduling.
Can you work on my vehicle if it is not a Jeep or truck?
Tell us what you drive. We build Jeeps, trucks, Broncos and SUVs, and between our dealer accounts and distributors we can source parts for most 4x4s.

He went above and beyond getting all hardware snugged up even though it wasn’t in the estimate - with being a late request made when I dropped off the truck. Additionally, Off Camber’s shop not only provided the most reasonable price out of the four estimates I received, they were the ONLY shop that recommended a follow up inspection for the type of service I had done. They installed a leveling kit, control arms, rear shocks, dual exhaust system, and a trailer receiver along with including the complementary inspection at 500 miles to make sure everything was still tight.
I had some Rubicon takeoff springs installed on my Wrangler JL Sport 2 door. It was awesome to watch Zach work. He took time to torque everything properly and still completed the job in a very timely fashion. It was a great experience!
