Will my truck still tow level to Carter Lake after a leveling kit?
It can, if the kit height is chosen with the trailer in mind. A tow rig should sit close to flat once hitched, so we ask about your boat and tongue weight first. Sometimes that means a slightly smaller front raise than someone who never tows would pick. A properly set up hitch matters as much as the kit itself.
Do my headlights need to be adjusted after leveling?
Yes. Lifting the front points the beams higher, which can dazzle oncoming drivers and put less light on the pavement. We re-aim them after the install. Colorado requires headlamp centers to be mounted between 24 and 54 inches from the ground under C.R.S. 42-4-205, so we keep that in mind if larger tires are part of the plan.
Could a leveling kit affect my factory warranty?
Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and by the specific component involved, so we cannot give a blanket answer.
