Loveland lift kits for rock, grade and canyon miles
Clearance for the forest roads west of town, with a suspension that still behaves on the paved drive up the Big Thompson. Installed a short hop up I-25 from Eisenhower Boulevard.
Where a stock stance runs out of room
Factory clearance tends to run short once you start turning off the county road onto numbered Forest Service routes, where the surface stops being graded and starts being rock.
A lift is really a package: taller springs or coilovers, shocks valved for the new length, and the arms, track bars and bump stops that keep geometry correct after the change. Paired with a larger all-terrain or mud-terrain tire, it raises the axles, the skid areas and the rocker panels away from whatever is sticking out of the road. We choose the height around where you actually plan to drive.

Moody Hill’s stair steps
The trailhead sits along Buckhorn Road about a mile and a half west of Stove Prairie Road. Expect steep, rocky pitches on a route usually rated moderate. The Forest Service closes it from December 1 until mid-June, so a spring install leaves time to shake the rig down before opening day.
The climb to Pennock Pass
Grades on the way up reach roughly nine percent, and the last several miles turn rougher, with switchbacks through the Cameron Peak burn scar. Longer-travel shocks keep tires planted on washboard rather than skipping sideways on a loose corner.
Johnny Park’s long drop
Reached off US-36 east of Estes Park, this 5.5-mile road descends over rough, rocky ground. Controlled damping means less pitching and better braking grip on the way down.
A rig that gets itself to the trailhead
Pole Hill Road, a few miles east of Estes Park, begins on private land and offers very little room to park a trailer, and the Forest Service does not recommend bringing one. That points toward a truck or Jeep you are comfortable piloting the whole way from your driveway, roughly an hour on the pavement from downtown Loveland to Estes Park before the dirt even starts.
So a Loveland lift has two jobs. It needs enough height for the rough sections, and it needs manners for the sweeping, rebuilt stretch of US-34 through the canyon. That usually means resisting the urge to go as tall as possible. A moderate lift with good shocks tends to keep body roll in check through the curves near Drake, while a very tall build can feel top-heavy on the same road. We will lay out both sides before you commit.

Before you raise it
How much lift should I run for Moody Hill?
It depends on your vehicle, tire size and how you pick lines. Many drivers find a modest lift paired with a bigger all-terrain tire is enough for rocky climbs of that kind, especially with careful spotting. Tall builds add clearance but also add weight up high. We will suggest a combination that suits your rig.
Will a lift make my truck lean more in Big Thompson Canyon curves?
Raising a vehicle raises its center of gravity, so some change is normal. How noticeable it feels comes down to the height you pick and the quality of the shocks and springs. A moderate lift with well-matched damping can feel planted on US-34, while cheap spacers alone on a very tall setup often feel floaty. We factor that paved drive into the recommendation.
Will my lifted truck still fit in my garage?
Measure your garage door opening before choosing a kit, and include any roof rack, light bar or antenna in your numbers. Give us that measurement and we can estimate the finished height for the lift and tires you are considering. Sometimes dropping an inch of lift is the difference between parking inside and parking in the driveway.

Zach did some suspension work on my truck and it came out great, he was quick and the price was fair. Will definitely be back for more work in the future.
I had some Rubicon takeoff springs installed on my Wrangler JL Sport 2 door. It was awesome to watch Zach work. He took time to torque everything properly and still completed the job in a very timely fashion. It was a great experience!
Zach did a great job on the lift install for my sequoia. Highly recommend!
I recently had a set of Fox 2.0 shocks installed on my daughter's Jeep at Off-Camber 4x4 Garage and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the Zach and Team was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. They took the time to explain the different shock options, ensuring we chose the best setup for her needs. The installation was done quickly and with great attention to detail. The Jeep now handles better than ever—smoother on the road and more capable off it.
Zack made a great recommendation on the Old Man Emu overland suspension for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Also on the installation. Truck rides and handles great.
I can’t say enough good things about this jeep shop and Zach was super friendly and even looked at something I thought could be an issue. As someone that works in the trades and was hoping for a smooth experience. They exceeded any expectations that I had. My jeep looks a lot better lifted. I had very specific time frames I was hoping to meet and they made it work, answered dozens of questions that I had, and provided tons of information I wanted to know and didn’t think to ask.
Zach and his team are nothing but stellar. They helped me a winch install, new upgraded suspension lift, and off-road lights for my Silverado. I would highly recommend them for any off-road upgrades you are looking to do for your rig.
Great job repairing my rear tire mount.
